I was trying to estimate how much money I’ve spent on strip clubs since I started going regularly over a decade ago. At my peak, I made a trip every week and spent about $200 each time. In slower periods, I went at least once a month but often spent up to $500. I was not a high-roller, but I was a regular. So conservatively, I’ve spent over $100K on several hundred trips. That seems like a lot of money, but this was spread out over a decade. A wife and family during the same time period would have costed more, though few would make this comparison. Can I be grateful for this life path, which I’m comfortable with and does not affect anybody else?
